I built this trading journal because I wanted to improve my own trading skills.
Over the years I tried several trading journals, but most of them focused only on statistics. They could tell me how many winning or losing trades I had, but they couldn't tell me why I was making those mistakes.
Nowadays many journals use AI to analyze trading data, which is great, but they still can't fully understand how I felt before entering a trade or what was happening in my mind at that moment. That was something I felt was missing.
This journal takes a different approach. It requires a bit more discipline because trades need to be entered manually. However, I believe discipline is one of the most important qualities of a successful trader, so in a way, using the journal is already part of the training process.
For every trade, I grade the setup from A++ to B or lower and write down the reason for entering. You can also upload screenshots so you can review the trade later and see exactly what happened. Looking back at your charts, notes, and decisions often reveals mistakes that are impossible to spot from statistics alone.
At the end of the day, you can review both your winning and losing trades, read your notes, check your grades, and identify patterns in your decision-making. This helps you understand where your strategy is working, where it's failing, and what needs improvement.
I genuinely hope you enjoy using this journal as much as I enjoyed building it. My goal is simple: to create a tool that helps traders become more disciplined, more self-aware, and ultimately more successful.
Happy trading!
